Welcome to your 10 Hour Risk Reduction DUI education course. This course was created to help you understand and evaluate the high risk behaviors that lead you to take this course. The state of Illinois may require DUI (Driving under the Influence) Offenders to complete a risk education course if their substance use is assessed to be in the classification of minimum to significant risk. This course will provide an opportunity to students to learn about the risks and consequences of alcohol and other drug use. Through this class students will look at their own history of drug and alcohol use and learn how it affects their physical, mental, fiscal, and social health. This course was created on the belief that people have the ability to change their behavior if they have the motivation and the know-how to do so. Through this course you will be provided with information on how to develop your own plan of action to take control of your risk behaviors.
